Our next monthly General Meeting will be Monday, October 2nd.  Please note the non-standard meeting date due to the Labor Day holiday.  Presentation will be a brief Tech News update and demonstration of the Linux operating system.

The presentation at our January 2016 meeting was about the new Microsoft Office 2016 and it’s various options.  For a copy of the handout that was available at the meeting, visit the Past Meeting Handouts page of our website – see the menu at the left.

January begins our membership renewal year for the VBCG and dues may be paid at the meeting.  Dues are $20/year for individual or family members.  For more information about dues, membership, and where to mail your dues if you can’t make the meeting, please click on the “Join” menu above.

Do you have a topic that you would like for us to have a program about? Or do you know someone who would be willing and available to do a presentation for the VBCG, that you think our membership would be interested in? We would love to hear from you if so! Please click here to send us an email to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Help Desk

The Help Desk is available to anyone who needs some extra help with any computer questions or issues. Stay after the General Meeting for additional assistance with a question or problem. Feel free to bring along a laptop too, if you have one and need help with it.

The Help Desk will be staffed by various VBCG Board members and SIG leaders, as they are available. We would also love to have any of our other members who are willing to offer their time and knowledge, to show up too and be available to offer assistance. We are a self-help organization and any experience or expertise you have to share is welcome and appreciated. You don’t have to be an expert to help out!
