EDITORIAL

It will be apparent to all but new reader's of this newsletter that several new writers are contributing to its useful content.  This issue presents a second part of Bud Greenless' three part history on the VBCG, letting those of us who are "short timers" to appreciate the trials and tribulations leading to the present mature organization.
Also, this issue contains another page of valuable tips and information by Jean Grider who not only writes these articles, but also serves as our Vice President, meeting program provider and remarkable SIG  instructor.

VOLUNTEERS  SERVE   LIBRARY

  By  Sherman Reed, Staff Writer

VBCG members Barbara Campbell, Thomas Chadwick,  Milton Farber, Bud Greenlees,  Tom Nadig, and Sherman Reed provided valuable help to the public library during January.  They helped members of the public from 2-4pm on six days to use library computers. The VBCG membership thanks these caring and helpful volunteers.
If you would like to serve as one of the Club volunteers helping persons use the library computers, please contact  Sherman Reed, at 562-2003. New helpers would be scheduled with a experienced helper for two hours to learn the setup and then serve a few hours per month.
