Phil Keeler will speak and demonstrate
"How to work with PC's and MAC's"
The Vero Beach Computer Group welcomes Phil Keeler. Phil will
be giving a talk and demonstration on "How to work with PC's and
MAC's" at the general meeting of the Vero Beach Computer Group.
Phil has been involved with computers since the days when 16K was a lot of memory. He worked on large computers with punch cards and small computers with switches. Back in the 70's
he was using ARPANET for e-mail and in the 80's he was using
BBS's . He has been on the Internet ever since.
Phil has worked for PanAm as a manager of ship and down-range island tracking stations on the USAF Atlantic Missile Range
during the 50's and 60's. During the Vietnam War, he was sent there with PanAm and was there for three years. When he returned,
he worked in PanAm's New York City office in Communications
Research and Development .Presently, Phil is enjoying retirement
here in Vero Beach. For the last two years Phil Keeler has become
one of the strong pillars of the MAC Users in this community.
