Please note that in 2012, our General Meetings will once again start at 7 PM.

The meetings are held the first Monday of the month, with some exceptions - please see the 2012 calendar.  Both the monthly and annual schedules are posted on the "SIG Schedule" page.

The next General Meeting of will be Monday, February 6, 2012, 7  PM.  The presentation will be by Mike Mazzarella.  Mike will be talking about the next generation of computing devices - what's different between the iPhone and the Android; can I replace my computer with a tablet?  Mike will also give a brief preview of some new features of Microsoft's next operating system - Windows 8.

Help Desk

The Help Desk is available to anyone who needs some extra help with any computer questions or issues.  Stay after the General Meeting for additional assistance with a question or problem.  Feel free to bring along a laptop too, if you have one and need help with it.

The Help Desk will be staffed by various VBCG Board members and SIG leaders, as they are available.  We would also love to have any of our other members who are willing to offer their time and knowledge, to show up too and be available to offer assistance.  We are a self-help organization and any experience or expertise you have to share is welcome and appreciated.  You don't have to be an expert to help out!
